I've always been interested in how things look - whether it be through art, craft, graphics, life or photography. My first digital camera was an olympus mju 400 which was a little clunky, took okay photos, but didn't really last the test of time. From then on, I purchased a Fujifilm Z3 and quite loved the nifty little non battery sucking thing, and as I played more and more with it, realized I wanted to have more control of my photos and the way things were captured. Enter my current (and most recent) purchase - a beloved Nikon N40 DSLR.
I'm new to manual photography, and have yet to learn the difference between aperture, exposure, f-stops and all that. However, rather than play privately, I wanted to be able to log my photos somewhere and be able to look back and see how my photo eye has developed. It's just a hobby , but one which I believe deserves a little bit more than keeping to myself.
I have tried to participate in Project 365 before, but unfortunately didn't quite succeed with my intention. Here's hoping round 2 will be better.
